Rights Respecting Celebration

22nd November 2019

As a Gold Rights Respecting School, we have been celebrating the 30th anniversary of The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). The CRC was adopted by the UN General Assembly on Wednesday 20th November 1989 and is the most widely adopted international human rights treaty in history. It outlines the rights each child should have such as the right to clean water, the right to an education and the right to relax and play. To commemorate this wonderful occasion, we have made bunting to celebrate children's rights and to think about the work that still needs to be done in the future.
Happy 30th anniversary CRC!
