Uniform
Please ensure that all uniform (including bookbags, bottles, lunchboxes etc.) is labelled clearly with your child's name.

PE
PE is carried out on the following days:
  • Octopus Class - Tuesday
  • Owl Class - Monday
  • Otter Class - Thursday
Children need to come to school dressed in their PE kits on their PE days. As it gets colder, they should come to school wearing leggings or tracksuit bottoms.

Homework and Spellings
Spellings will be tested on Fridays. The list of spellings for each week will be sent out at the start of term. Please practise these during the week so that your child feels confident and prepared.

We are providing optional activities linked to our current units that you can complete with your children. You can find these on the back of the termly overview below.

Reading Helpers
Parent/Carer helpers are always welcome in school. If you would like to volunteer to read with children please speak to your child's teacher. Please be aware that you will be placed in a different class to your child's. We are always very thankful for your help and support.
English Overviews
Please find attached below our English overviews where you can find our class texts, handwriting focuses, phonics sounds and spellings.
Phonics
We are following the Phonics scheme 'Unlocking Letters and Sounds'. You can find lots of information on this under the tab 'Curriculum' and then 'English'.  If you have any questions or would like some extra support, please do not hesitate to speak to your child's teacher. Thank you!
Numbots
You can find your child's Numbots login in the front of their reading record. This is a fun app that helps develop your child's number fact knowledge.
Class Time Tables
Cooking
We had so much fun making Barfi when learning all about Diwali the Festival of Light. We carefully measured out the ingredients and watched it solidify on the stove. It was very tasty!
Continous Provision
Take a look at all of the fun we have had, both indoors and outdoors!
Maths
We’ve worked so hard on our maths and used lots of different representations of number.
School Trip - Clifton Downs
We had a great time making autumnal art based on Andy Goldsworthy. We then made nature portraits and clay animals.
