PSHE - Personal, Social, Health and Economics

PSHE Intent Statement

At Holymead Primary School, we want to prepare our pupils to become responsible, informed and active global citizens. To achieve this, our pupils learn to understand and respect our common humanity, diversity and differences so that they can go on to form effective, fulfilling relationships. In addition to this, they learn to recognise their own worth and develop personally and socially, tackling many of the spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. Furthermore, our pupils are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities and experiences across and beyond the curriculum to enable them to lead happy and healthy lives.

RSHE- Relationships, Sex and Health Education

In Term 6, we will be teaching RSHE during our 'Changing Me' unit. Further to our Parent Meetings, please find below the KS2 Overviews for this unit. If you have any further questions, please contact your class teacher.
