Science Day January 2026

On Wednesday 21st January it was Year 3 Science Day! We set up a couple of experiments which we will monitor over the coming days and weeks to try and answer the questions "Which material is best for a plant to grow in?" and "How is water transported around a plant?" We also demonstrated the pollination process using glitter to represent the pollen. The children who started with glitter on their hands were the bees that had already visited a flower. They then shook hands with all of the other children in the class to show how the pollen gets transferred to a new flower. Well done Year 3!
